Salt Lake Area Paranormal Investigation Team
This is a little project that I intend to do myself, and indeed got a lot of hedge way on it during my Character Design class. You see, after failing to start a real paranormal investigation team, I decided to do this humorous little comic instead. The name is actually one my dad came up with as a joke. I liked it so much, I decided to use it.
The way I want to apply this comic, however, is somewhat different than is traditional. I plan to have each scene displayed in video format with voice acting instead of speech bubbles. Sort of like the story-board extras you get on all of the pixar films, only the still images will be finished rather than sketchy.

Height Comparison
Here's the Character line up from left to right: Danni, Tuesday, Malcolm, and Leonard. Malcolm's design is a bit too stiff, and I need to experiment with color schemes a bit more.
Danni Turn Around
Here's my first accurate turn-around. You never realize how hard it is until you seriously try it, and I hope to emulate it in the new turn-arounds I'll be making this summer for the Renegades Project.
Danni Body Expressions
This was certainly fun, and I am excited to do more of it in the future.
Danni Facial Expressions
This too was a riot and a half...I don't know if you've noticed yet, but this character is a charicature of myself. I think making fun of myself is what makes this so enjoyable in the first place.
Team Van
I designed this after an old 80s 'pig van', after all, I wanted most of the team's belongings to be the epitome of cheap junk. I hope very soon to replace this sketch with a color version. When it has been updated, I will let you know.
Attic Scene Wide
Here's a wide view of their attic headquarters. Every comic will open with some version of this scene. It will show Danni reading some eccentric book with an unusual prop on the desk before the phone rings with a client.
Attic Scene Narrow
Here's just a close up of that attic scene, in color, from a different (but somewhat undesirable) angle. Since this is the most important scene of every comic, it's going to take several tries before I get it just right.
